Castaway Cay - Disney Cruise Line's Private Island

Have you ever seen a postcard from the Bahamas? You know the ones; palm trees, white sandy beaches, and water so blue that it can’t be real. This place really exists and it is called Castaway Cay. Castaway Cay is Disney’s private island where every Disney Cruise makes port for a day (and yes, the water really is that blue).

The palm trees, beaches, and beautiful blue water are not the only things that make Castaway Cay special. The island has something for everyone. Most cruisers will spend their time at the family beach. This white sandy beach has chairs for sunbathing or umbrellas for shade. There are also hammocks for swaying in the ocean breeze and relaxing, Disney style.

Just down from the family beach is the sports beach where you can play tetherball, volleyball, or a number of other activities.
The teen beach is next and is off limits to those of us over 18.The teen beach is the perfect place for the young adults to hang out and get away from those of us who may be cramping their image.

On the other side of the island is Serenity Bay. This beach is reserved for adults only and is a wonderful place to enjoy some peace and quiet. This section even has its own lunch served so you never have to leave (well, at least until 5pm).

For those who like to shop, there are several interesting stores where you can buy items unique to Castaway Cay. Those who enjoy the occasional adult beverage (I love Conch Coolers) Castaway Cay has several walk up bars to choose from, or you can order from one of the many drink servers walking around. All of the activities are bound to work up an appetite, and Disney has this covered too with a buffet style barbecue lunch.

There are plenty of excursions to try on the island, too. Everything from parasailing to bike riding is available on the island. My personal favorite, though, is snorkeling. Castaway Cay has a protected cove set aside for snorkeling where most of the dangerous creatures of the sea can not enter. There are many lifeguards overseeing the snorkelers for added safety. This is the perfect place to see tropical fish in as safe an environment as possible. Give it a try and see if you can find the Mickey statue!

Castaway Cay is typical of Disney; a magical place that is fun for the whole family. This island is just another reason why Disney Cruises stand head and shoulders above everyone else for family vacations.

Planning for your Walt Disney World Trip

To me planning for a Walt Disney World vacation is almost as exciting as going to Disney World….ALMOST! When my husband and I decided to take our 3 little boys to Disney World, I had so much fun planning the trip! Before the trip my husband told me “Your being obsessive”, but once we were at Disney World all he could say was “Thank You!” We saw many families stressed, and overwhelmed, but thanks my knowledge of Disney and planning in advance for the trip we had the time of our lives!

When my husband and I first decided to take the boys to Disney World, the first thing we did was sit down and looked at possible dates. We decided to go to Disney at the end of June. We knew it was going to be hot and crowded, but I was determined this was going to be the best vacation ever! We booked our trip using the buy 4 get 3 discount that Disney was offering. This means you buy 4 nights of hotel and tickets and get 3 nights of hotel and tickets free! We were excited to save several hundred dollars off our vacation right from the beginning. (Disney is offering this awesome discount again!) If you use a WDW Travels agent for your vacation, we will provide discount monitoring; this means that your reservation will be monitored daily for any new Disney discounts that might decrease your cost. If we find one, we will have it automatically applied to your reservation and will notify you of the new cost of your vacation! Once our trip was booked I then ordered Disney’s vacation planning DVD. I don’t think this DVD has been taken out of my vehicle, my boys watch it all the time when were driving, they love reliving Disney World.

One of the things I did for my boys and I do for my clients who have small children is to make a Disney World countdown calendar. I make this on the computer using a regular calendar template and just add images of Disney characters. The days that we are going to Disney World have Mickey heads on them. Every night before bed we crossed off that day, my boys loved to do this and this way they could visually see how much longer we have until we leave for Disney!

When you are vacationing at Disney, I highly recommend using one of the Disney dining plans. The plan that I most often recommend to my clients is the regular Disney dining plan. With this plan you get one quick service meal, one table service meal, and one snack per person in your party per day for a fixed price. The dining plan allows you to order what you want, without having to worry about price; it’s all been paid for in advance! If you are using a dining plan that offers table service meals, reservations for these meals need to be made in advance. Advanced dining reservations are available 180 days prior to check in for your trip. We at WDW Travels will be happy to make all of your dining reservations for you. Character meals are often a highlight of many children’s Disney vacations. If your little girl has her heart set on eating in the castle with Cinderella we need to make these reservations as soon as possible. Dining at Disney restaurants can add so much to your Disney vacation.

When planning your Disney vacation, you may wonder which parks do I go to on which days? Are some parks less crowded than others on certain days? Well the answer to that is yes, some parks are less crowded that others on certain days. If you use a WDW Disney travel agent, we will be happy to provide you with itinerary planning. This is a custom guide for your vacation so you can spend your time having fun! You can sit back and relax while we do all the work for you! We will recommend the least crowded parks for each day of your trip. So you can spend more time riding the rides and less time in line waiting.

Planning a Disney World vacation can be overwhelming to say the least. When do I book? Where do I eat? Which parks are the least crowded? How do I get from the airport to my hotel? What are fastpasses? What about child/rider swap? We at WDW Travels will be glad to answer any and all question our clients have. We provide each client with itinerary planning, discount monitoring, advanced dining reservations, and a care package tailored to each clients individual needs. The best part is you never pay any fees, for our magical service its FREE!!

The night before we leave on our Disney Vacation, Mickey Mouse visits our house. He usually just leaves Mickey shaped confetti and a note. My boys just can’t figure out how Mickey gets in our house with all the doors locked! This night usually rivals the night before Christmas, no one can sleep because we are so excited about what the next day will bring!

Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort

I just got back from another wonderful weekend at Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort. What? You didn’t know that Disney had a resort outside of Florida? This is one of the “Best Kept Disney Secrets”.

Set amongst the palmetto trees, pines and live oaks is the most relaxing Disney vacation you've ever taken. Located on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina is a beautiful Disney Vacation Club resort. Not a Member? Not a problem! Rooms and villas are available for cash reservations to anyone. The main resort is on its own little island –Longview Island- in Shelter Cove on the Broad Creek marsh side of the island. This is where all of the villas and main lodge are. There are several types of villas to choose from: studios, 1 bedroom villas, 2 bedroom villas and 3 bedroom grand villas. Studios sleep up to 4 people and have a queen size bed and full size sofa sleeper along with a kitchenette. The larger villas sleep 4, 8 or up to12 people, have full kitchens, washer & dryers in the room and living comfortable living rooms. We just had a group of 8 in a 2 bedroom villa for a birthday party and it was great. We’ve also stayed in a 2 bedroom with only 4 of us and enjoyed being able to spread out a bit. The grand villas are often booked by large groups or families for birthdays, reunions, and holiday get-togethers.

What is there to do at the resort? As much or as little as you would like to do. There is a great pool with slide, hot tub, ping pong tables, shuffle board, horseshoes, basketball, pool table and a playground. That’s just the “stuff”, there are also activities scheduled all the time. Some have small fees, some are free. There are arts & crafts, nature photography classes, kayaking trips, dolphin tours, nature walks, magic shows & ghost stories and more. Several nights a week there are campfires with silly campfire songs (Disney style of course) and s’mores! That’s just at the main resort, there are more things at the Beach House.

Across the road is Disney’s Beach House. This 3 ½ acre complex offers access to the beach, along with another pool, restaurant, arcade, ping pong table, splash area for kids and Surfmen’s Station, a place to relax out of the heat and watch the game or some cartoons.

If you’re looking for more to do, consider bike riding (bring your own or rent at the resort) or fishing (poles & bait available for rent), and of course Hilton Head Island is known for golf & tennis. Great golf deals can be found by calling Last Minute Tee Times and there are public tennis courts just down the road that are nicer than some private clubs. The resort also has a relationship with Palmetto Dunes Resort and their courts can be used for a fee. Check with the front desk for details.

Need something to eat? There are several options at the resort: Tide Me Over offers Carolina cooking, sandwiches, burgers, salads and breakfast all day long and Signals at the Beach House offers sandwiches, salads, drinks & treats. There are also tons of restaurants all over the island to try. Several are walking distance at Shelter Cove, others are easy drives. Another option is to stock up on groceries at the Publix or Piggly Wiggly and take advantage of the full kitchen in the 1, 2 & 3 bedroom villas. There are also grills available for your use at the resort if you’d like to cook out.

Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort is a great place to get away for a relaxing weekend or a weeklong vacation and it’s a great place to get a refill on Pixie Dust when Walt Disney World is just too far away.

Grand Gathering Tip of the Day

Disney Tip of the Day:
If you’re traveling with a large group to Disney World, don’t try to spend every minute together. Instead, plan to meet up for an evening meal to discuss your day at the parks.

In my family, a Disney vacation was a part of growing up. Being the oldest of five siblings, I adopted some of my mom’s vacation practices with my own four children and our vacations to Disney. Because of the size our family, any trip to Disney means we’re traveling with a large group. Every Disney vacation is a Grand Gathering!

When my siblings and I were younger, all six members of our family did everything at Disney together. We all dressed in outfits from the Sears catalog, and they were all the same color. (I’m afraid that I’m dating myself…!) We were horrified for awhile, but our mother was firm. Truthfully, we were at Disney, and we didn’t care what we looked like! But, every ride we rode, and every meal we ate, we were noticed by every cast member we saw. We were the “Red Family,” or the “Green Family.” It very quickly became a fun game to see how many would call us by those names.

As my siblings and I grew up and had families of our own, it became glaringly apparent that we needed a new strategy. The Sears outfits of old turned into same-color shirts for my children, my husband, and me. It still has the same impact…especially when we wear tie-dyed shirts!

Because we vacationed with large groups, and still do today, it taught me how traveling with that many people can be stressful. It can be so difficult for everyone to be able to do what they want to do, and for everyone to have a great time together. That is, after all, the point of traveling together!

Since our family now consists of eleven adults and nine children under the age of ten, we have had to adopt a new plan that could work for your large group also. Now, our goal for each day at Disney is to meet for a meal together at night. During the day, we sometimes stay together, and we sometimes separate. Some of us still need a nap in the afternoon; some of us want a swim in the afternoon, and some of us are Park-Troopers. Since we decided to stop forcing the issue of everyone spending every minute of the vacation together, it is much less stressful. We enjoy each other, our children, and our vacation much more. Try this tip for your next Grand Gathering…it may bring even more Magic to your vacation!

A Celebration to Remember!

On our most recent trip to Disney World, we celebrated my twin daughters 6th birthday. We have celebrated many things at Disney this year…Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, My Brother’s Wedding, which was awesome, but this was by far my favorite! After all, this was for our two little girls. It was a chance to make a magical memory they would never forget!

We moved to Florida less than a year ago from New Jersey. This would be their first year since they were born without a big “Family Party”, so my husband and I wanted to make it special. What better way to do that then celebrating in Disney. So, with everything set we hopped in the car and headed for the most magical place on earth. It’s only a short 2 hour drive for us, so we were there in no time. Of course, to my girls it felt like forever, because they were so excited about the days ahead.

We arrived at the Boardwalk Villas (We are DVC members, but anyone can stay at the Boardwalk Inn) and checked in with no problem. When we opened the door to our room my daughters were pleasantly surprised to find that Mickey decorated the room for them with balloons, banners and a stuffed Mickey and Minnie. WOW! They felt special! . Disney has a lot of extra touches you can add to any vacation package to make any occasion extra special. I also requested a garden view room and that is what we received. It was actually a view of the gardens in the courtyard and a semi-view of the actual boardwalk…very nice! The Boardwalk has great restaurants such as the new Kouzzina by Cat Cora, ESPN Club and the Flying Fish Cafe’. For a sweet treat they have Boardwalk Bakery and Seashore Sweets. They also have nightclubs and shopping, too! There is a fun clown pool with a waterslide and daily activities to enjoy as well. My favorite part, you can take a short walk or boat ride to Epcot, this was great, especially with the magic hours.

The “Big Day” was finally here! Our daughters were so excited…Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Cinderella’s Castle in Magic Kingdom and then Chef Mickey’s for Dinner….What a Birthday!
With Disney’s birthday promotion this year my daughters were able to each get $68 dollar fun cards to spend as they wanted to, we have annual passes, so instead of the free day in the park they chose the fun cards. Which was great….they love to shop!

First, we arrived at BBB where the girls were transformed into princesses. They picked out which princess they wanted to be, Kathy wanted to be Princess Ariel and Alyssa wanted to Princess Jasmine.
So off they went to get their attire on and their fairy godmothers in training styled their hair, put makeup on them and did their nails, with great detail! They ended by adding some glitter, can’t have enough of that! They had the girls close their eyes and make a wish. With a magic wand in hand they sprinkled glitter and said; “May all your dreams come true”. Then they turned them each around to see how they looked in the mirror. They ended with a photo shoot with some awesome keepsake photos. I literally had tears in my eyes seeing how excited they were. I have to say they loved every minute of the attention they received throughout the day. It was a great experience and well worth it!

After spending the day in Magic Kingdom we headed over to the Contemporary Resort for their birthday dinner at Chef Mickey’s. This is one of our favorite Character dining’s. We usually go to the buffet breakfast, which in my opinion is the best, but let me tell you the dinner was just as good! We ended their birthday with a special cake and a visit from Mickey! It was a magical day never to be forgotten. We spent the rest of our vacation enjoying all the parks and of course we talked about our next trip on the car ride home.
There are so many great reasons to celebrate! Pick one and make it a Disney Vacation to remember!
WE DID!

How to make EVERYONE happy at WDW

We just returned from our latest trip to Walt Disney World in August. Our family is unique in that our children are fairly spread out in age. Thus, their interests at WDW are also varied. We have a daughter who is a sophomore (almost 16), a 12 year old son in 7th grade, and a 5 year old son. As you can probably guess, they are not all interested in the same things that Disney has to offer. So, my advice to you is to be flexible...realize this is EVERYONE's vacation. So let everyone have a say in what to do. How did we make it work on this trip? Let me tell you.First of all, we allowed our 15 year old to take a friend with her this time. Why? Because together they are old enough to navigate the parks and the transportation systems on their own. If you are doing Playhouse Disney with your preschooler, your teenager can be riding Tower of Terror. It makes everyone happy and maximizes your time in the parks. Teens also seem to be at their peak after 9pm and totally unresponsive before 11am. Let them use some late night Extra Magic Hours and sleep in the next day. The rest of the family can hit the parks early in the morning. Meet up for lunch, some time in the pool, and spend the rest of the day together. With three kids there is always the "middle kid". Not old enough to hang with the older sibling, but too old to want to ride Dumbo five times in a row. What do you do? We split up at times during the day. Again, it allows everyone to do what they want to do and you get special one-on-one time with each child. We are also fortunate enough that most times my parents travel with us. Never underestimate how special time at Disney is for grandparents and their grandchildren. You are probably wondering "What kind of a family vacation is it if everyone is going their own way?". This is not an "all day, every day" plan. We spend the majority of our time all together in the same place at the same time. But this little bit of flexibility makes everyone happy and creates magical memories. (Remember, this is Disney World..."the happiest place on Earth"). Besides, isn't that what a family vacation is supposed to do?

A May Disney Adventure with Grandparents

Traveling with the family “A May Disney Adventure"
I am usually the type of person who is somewhat selfish with my time at Disneyworld. I like it to be myself, husband and kids. This time was going to be different; grandma and grandpa were coming with us. 2008 was a rough year for all of us, due to Hurricane Gustav flooding my in-laws house. My husband, I and the kids were at Disneyworld when Hurricane Gustav made his appearance. My husband’s parents had to live with us for three and a half months after Gustav, so that their house could be repaired. It was a very stressful time for all of us but we survived. And how does one celebrate surviving the storms of life, a trip to Disneyworld of course.

When we returned from Disney in Sept of 2008 I was already dreaming of my next trip to the world. Not thinking I would return less than a year later. Well Mickey had some tricks up his sleeve for us. In early November I received one of the sought after “pin code” promotion emails. I read it and it was a really good offer. I did not even tell my husband but I booked a package with the “pin code” and put down a deposit. I kept the secret to myself for a while, and then finally spilled the beans to him. He thought I was crazy but he was right. Our trip in 2008 was somewhat overshadowed by all that was going on back home so I vowed a do-over trip.

Jump ahead to Jan 2009, my in-laws mentioned that they would like to go with the grandkids at least once, so I said come on and we will see what it will cost for the two of you. You see Mickey was good to the public this year; he has made some great deals on packages like the “Buy 4 and get 3 free deal.” So I went online and made them a reservation at Caribbean Beach Resort, Pirate room. We were staying there in the newly remodeled rooms and I was excited to get it for them to.

May 20, 2009 we hit the road bound for Disneyworld. We live in Louisiana so it is a little over 800 miles to drive. The four of us would have driven all the way there but being that the in-laws were with us we decided to drive to Tallahassee and spend the night. The ride to Tallahassee was uneventful and we woke up the next morning and drove on into Disney.
May 21, 2009 check in day at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, I am so excited. Check in was smooth and it was early so our room was not ready. No worries though we decided to grab lunch at the resort before heading out to the parks. This was my first time staying at Caribbean Beach and I thought the resort was beautiful. I think CBR gets a bad rap because it is a very large resort but I really enjoyed it. We stayed in Trinidad South which is the location of the Pirate rooms. I think we got the best location on the property in my humble opinion, first floor room of building 37 facing the bus stop. I mean we were literally 50 yards from the bus, maybe closer. We were also right next to the laundry facility and quiet pool. Each set of buildings has its own quiet pool, if you don’t want to go down to the main pool for a swim.
The day we arrived we had arranged to have scooters for my in-laws because as many of you know you probably walk 100 miles while on a Disney vacation. They would not be able to walk all that way so we rented scooters from an outside company and they were waiting for us at bell services when we arrived. I highly recommend this for anyone who is mobility challenged. My kids enjoyed the scooters maw- maw and paw-paw had, when the kids got tired of walking they would hop on with them. It made it easier to keep up with them that way.
After lunch we headed out to Magic Kingdom for some fun. I thought it would be rough loading and unloading the scooters on the Disney bus system but that was not to be. All of the bus drivers were great at getting us loaded and unloaded from the busses.

This was the year of “What will you Celebrate”: well the day we arrived it was my mother-in laws birthday and she went to the ticket window at Epcot and got her birthday fun card to spend. This year each person can receive a free one day park admission on their birthday, but if you already have tickets you can exchange it for the birthday fun card or a special birthday fastpass. My mother-in law chose the fun card; it was worth $75 dollars. That was a really cool thing for her. We also had made and Advance dining reservation that night at Chef Mickey’s and we had a birthday cake for her while we were there. You don’t have to be a kid to have a birthday with Mickey it is a great thing to do at any age.

We spent the next day’s exploring the parks sometimes with the in-laws and sometimes without. I think it is good if you travel with family especially large groups to be willing to split up and have some time apart. Disneyworld is 47 square miles of fun and there is so much to explore. I think the key to a good trip with family is to spend time together such as dinners at Table service restaurants and time apart in the parks. Grandma and grandpa don’t necessarily want to ride the Teacups in Fantasyland 10 times. This is exactly what we did, we would generally start out the day together and then they would go back to the resort for a rest and we would meet back up for dinner at night. Let me tell you dinners at Disney are delicious. Some of the ones we attended were Chef Mickey’s at the Contemporary Resort, Whispering Canyon CafĂ© at the Wilderness Lodge, Ohana at the Polynesian; one of my favorites. Cinderella’s Royal Table for breakfast and Le Cellier in the Canadian Pavilion at Epcot. Being from Louisiana we love to eat and we were not disappointed in any of our choices. I highly suggest making advance dining reservations as soon as you are able so that you can get in to the great places to eat in Disney.

So as you can see traveling with family can be great at Disneyworld, because there is so much to see and do there. Whether you are 5 or 95 you can’t possibly have a bad time. I always say a bad day at Disney is better than a good day anywhere else. It is my happy place and luckily my family loves it as much as I do. I can’t wait until our next trip to the World. We are shooting for Oct of 2010, maybe a Land and Sea package. Who knows if we will make it that long; I hope not.

I LOVE DISNEY WORLD!!!

I LOVE DISNEY WORLD

I love Disney World. I make no secret of it and I have been known to cry when the train pulls up in front of the Magic Kingdom first thing in the morning. I love Disney, and it’s magical to me. You can’t convince me or my family otherwise. Believe it or not, my family seems to calm down amidst the constant magic of Disney World. It is the measure for all successful vacations: nothing is as fun, tiring, imaginative, or inspiring as Disney World.

My family tries to go every 18 months or so. We can usually go a full 12 months before we start going into Disney World withdrawal. You think I exaggerate, but I assure you, I do not. Even my husband will sometimes look me straight in the eye and say, “How long until we go back to Disney World?” There is no higher endorsement for a vacation than that, I assure you. Here are my best tips for you if you’re planning a Disney World vacation.

1.Stay on property. It can be pricey, but it’s very worth it. There are three levels of hotels: Value, Moderate, and Deluxe. We have stayed at

  • Port Orleans Riverside (moderate; New Orleans theme)
  • The Yacht Club (deluxe; nautical theme and best pool on property–it has a sand bottom!)
  • The Wilderness Lodge (deluxe; Grand Canyon and family resort of the 1950s theme–very Craftsman)
  • The Polynesian (deluxe; Hawaiian theme; on the monorail so it’s very easy to get to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT)
  • The Boardwalk (deluxe; themed like the old Boardwalks of the late 1800s/early 1900s; walking distance to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT)
  • Pop Century (Value; larger than life theming, great food court)

My favorite of the three resorts where we’ve stayed is the Port Orleans Riverside (a moderate). It wasn’t too far from anything, and it had a boat launch to Downtown Disney that was very convenient. It’s a great resort that isn’t too spread out. Also, if you have five in your family, it’s currently the only moderate resort on the DW property that allows five in a room (on the Bayou side). Otherwise you will have to book two rooms. FYI: Make sure when booking two rooms that you confirm they are adjoining (connecting) and not adjacent (close to), especially with kids involved.

2.Use the Dining Plan. I definitely recommend the Dining Plan. You can use your Dining Plan for one counter service meal, one full service meal (also called Table Service), and one snack for each night you are staying at a DW resort. The full service meals can be used to eat at a character meal. You are not limited to using one of each type of meal for each day. In other words you can use all your counter services in one day, or two counter services and a table service one day. Everything is lumped together on your card and just taken off as you use it which is very convenient. For the price (about $38/day/adult and $10/day/child), you’re getting more food than you can imagine. It definitely costs more if you go out-of-pocket. Keep in mind that it can cost more than $35 for one adult table service meal. So essentially you’re getting free food and snacks. Trust me, it will pay for itself.

3.Make ADRs. ADR stands for Advanced Dining Reservations. You can make your ADRs 90 days from your arrival date and I highly suggest you do. Without ADRs you’ll end up waiting for a table that may never become available. First priority is given to those who have an ADR. I have even made an ADR, gotten the time wrong, showed up at the restaurant and explained myself, and was put ahead of others without an ADR. It pays to make the ADR. It’s an especially good idea to make your ADRs as soon as you can if you would like to eat at Cinderella’s Castle or are planning on attending a hard-ticketed event. For example, many people love to eat at The Liberty Tree Tavern just before Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Therefore it fills up fast. To ensure you have a table, you need to make your ADRs 90 days from your arrival date.

4.Buy the Park Hopper. It isn’t that much more than a regular park pass, and the more days you are there, the cheaper it is to add a day or utilize the Park Hopper option. The Park Hopper option allows you to visit more than one park on any given day and gives you great flexibility. If you’re done with Animal Kingdom by lunch (and you very well may be) you have the option of visiting another park later in the day. Or if you’ve just had dinner and were at EPCOT all day but are close to Magic Kingdom, you can pop over to see the fireworks that night. We’ve done this several times.

5.Plan your route. Know which park you’re going to on which day. This helps with your ADRs and also with how your day will go. Make a loop (start at one end and work your way around) instead of criss-crossing. Seriously, get the map and map it out. Look at the shows and parades and decide what you want to see and when you need to be there. Understand that there is too much to do and you cannot get it all done in one trip. Don’t try! We’ve been five times and we have yet to do it all. I think you could go every year and still have something new each time.

6. Seek out the Magical Moments. My family were surprised by how many times “special” things happened to us on our trip. Some of it was the pixie dust that Disney sprinkles around , but most of it was stuff I researched ahead of time. Small things like wearing matching Mickey family shirts got us a lot of attention from the cast members and characters with the added bonus of making my kids easier to spot in a crowd. Getting there early to the Pirate Tutorial as well as the Jedi Training shows secured us a great spot to be chosen to participate. (A sign scrawled on a napkin that read “the force is strong with this one!” didn’t hurt either!) When we stumbled onto the Kim Possible Adventure and signed up to help save the planet- my kids were thrilled and thought this interactive espionage mission was a highlight of the trip…most of the Disney visitors were asking us where to get a “kimmunicator” and how did we find out about it… the answer is all in the planning!

If you’d like help in planning a trip as wonderful as mine turned out to be, I’d be glad to help! I can give you any and all details on how to make it happen- heck, I can do it all for you and all you have to do is show up and enjoy it! (Come to think of it, that’s just what my husband does! ;0)

If you want, those staying in a Value resort can upgrade to the regular Dining Plan for just $10 per adult per night and $2 per child (3-9) per night, or to the Deluxe Dining Plan for $42 per adult per night and $12 per child (3-9) per night; those staying in a Moderate or Deluxe can upgrade to the Deluxe Dining Plan for $32 per adult per night and $10 per child (3-9) per night.
(The upgrade fees represent the usual price difference between the various dining plans.)
You can also add the "Wine & Dine" Plan to this package, at full price.
